Water's Edge

A HIGH TIDE project created for the launch of Discovering Places

over the London 2012 Open Weekend 2010

Monday 21st June 2010 is the Summer Solstice.

We want you to go to your nearest water's edge on the longest day and take a photograph - whether it's the sea, a lake, a river, a canal, a pond… or even a puddle!

You can be creative too! Make a sculpture out of twigs or write a message in the sand!

Whatever you do, try to capture that special moment in your natural environment.

Your challenge is to help us set a World Record for the most photos taken and collected from a nation on the Longest Day!

Photos must be taken on Monday 21st June 2010 and sent to us by text or email by 5pm on Monday 28th June 2010.
